This year has started great with a gig at the famous Glenfarg Folk Club. Thank fully Maya was well enough this time to perform after her swine flu in September. It was a great gig and as per usual great audience participation.

Hi,
Just back home after an interview on BBC Radio Scotland, what a great experience being on Archie Fisher's Travelling Folk programme. They played my favourite song from the album 'The Learig' and also my own song 'Nothing to You'. They finished with 'Gone for the Day', a song written by the great singer songwriter Ian Bruce. I really enjoyed being in the studio. Thanks to Archie and his team for having me, it was a real honour.
See you all at Brel on Sunday.

Hello again.....
Sorry it has been so long since I have added some new info, things have been absolutely manic!
I finally took the plunge at Christmas time and gave up my full time job to give the singing the time it deserves and since then I have just not stopped and I am loving every second of it!
The year started out with my first trip to Ireland to the Winter Music Festival in a place called Sixmilebridge. I can honestly say I don’t think I have ever laughed so much in my life. I had such a great time, the people were so friendly and the festival was the best festival I have ever been to. I can’t wait to go back. I would like to say thank you to Brendan Walsh who organised the festival which is now in its 9th year and also to his son Rory for accompanying me on the Saturday after only 5 minutes of practise. Rory, I could not have done it without you!
As soon as I got back from Ireland I started working with a great new guitarist called Pete Cooke. He will be performing with me and the rest of the musicians on the 8th of March at the Rutherglen Town Hall. It will be one not to be missed. Tickets are £8 (£7 cons) and are available direct from Rutherglen town hall on 0141 613 5700 or email rutherglentownhall2@southlanarkshire.gov.uk For more information click here.
The CD is going really well and I am really excited about it. It is almost finished and should be ready soon.
Well I think that is all my news so far.
Bye for now

Hello!
For the newcomers to my website, welcome. And for the people who have visited before, welcome back! Thank you for the visit to my new(ish) website that I have managed to finally update with new images. I was going to wait until the CD came out before uploading them but I could not wait that long. I hope you like them.
I would like to say a special thanks to George Lammie the photographer who had to put up with me being camera shy. If you know anyone who is getting married then he comes highly recommended! Take a look at his website for more information www.georgelammie.com
Lots have been happening over the last few months.... to start with some personal news... the wonderful Peter Leslie has asked me to marry him and I have said yes. No plans as yet though....
I have been away recording the long awaited CD and things are going really well apart from coming down with a cold. Bad timing but it did not stop us from working on other things, so I am back down on the 22nd of December to finish it. It won’t be ready until February but as soon as I know the exact date that it will come back from the press then I will let you know.
I still don’t have any tracks on here that you can listen to yet but if you go to my To Buy page and follow the link to my MYSPACE you can listen to 2 tracks on there.
If you would like regular updates on my next gig and the CD then, again, fill in the form on the Contacts page and you will be added to the mailing list.
Thanks again for the visit and I hope you come back soon.
Cheers
Eilidh
